Dear Black Woman,
Its okay to let that guard down, its okay to speak up, this is a safe space no more need to hide and hold it in! I hope by time your done this letter it puts a smile upon your face, Hope in your heart. I see you, but do you see yourself? Do you know the amazing beings we are? Do you know all we are capable of. You are seen, you are loved. From the crown of your head, the copper color of your skin, to the soles of your feet! Our light shines so bright we get overshadowed or dimmed! We are not soft, we are not angry we are hurt from the decades of no protection, the violence the constant living in survival mode!!

Dear Black Woman,
Our possibilities are endless if we ever stop being afraid, afraid of failure, afraid to outcome the down fall. Stop hiding from all the possibilities of you. Your presence is needed, your presence is requested, your presence is valued. Your presence is what makes this world go around! If it wasn’t for you, things would be different without the love of a black woman, without the heart of a black woman.

Dear Black Woman,
Woman to woman life gets no better than you, love gets no deeper than what flows through you! The epitome of style & grace. What most want in another race! You never cease to amaze me with all you hold with in! A black woman is my favorite superhero because I know her within! I love you and all you stand for maybe just maybe you needed to hear that a little more. Maybe you need to feel that so you are sure! You are love, you are light you are now and forever everything.
With Love & Support,
Ashley Davis
