Color Me in Sound: Black Creatives Series is a dynamic and visually engaging interview series that is dedicated to highlighting the creative excellence and cultural contributions of Black women in the arts across a wide spectrum of disciplines. Featured guests include DJs, musicians, filmmakers, makeup artists, interior designers, visual artists, and other creative professionals shaping the future of art, music, fashion, and design.

Each episode invites viewers into the creative world of these women, offering personal insight into their journeys, their work, and the impact of their voices in industries where Black women are often underrepresented or overlooked. Through honest conversations and behind-the-scenes stories, the series captures the challenges, triumphs, and everyday realities of navigating the creative world while staying true to one's identity and vision.

Andrea Joyce is an author, Certified Life Coach, ordained Minister, and podcast host. A single mother of three, she was born and raised in Paterson, NJ, where she began writing short stories and essays in her school years, earning multiple accolades. Her passion for reading and writing evolved into a career as a Writer, Producer, and Director for plays, film, and television. She is the CEO of Andrea Joyce Media, a premier production company, and the author of four books—Conversations with God, 31 Ways to Self-Care, 5 Steps to Overcoming Unforgiveness, and Seeing Past the Storm—available at andreajoycemedia.com, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.

Andrea’s public speaking skills emerged in childhood and later inspired her to become a talk show host. In 2010, she co-hosted the weekly talk show He Says…She Says alongside Reginald Dye. Over the years, she has hosted several inspirational programs and now leads the weekly podcast Color Me In Sound on Thursday evenings.

Her passion for service led to the founding of Helping Mothers Manage (H.M.M.), which supports single mothers in achieving stability and success, and Word In The House (W.I.T.H.) Ministries, dedicated to teaching and demonstrating God’s Word.

Andrea’s vision is to reach new heights and positively impact lives worldwide. Guided by her philosophy—“Do what you love, love what you do, and always remember to keep God first”—she continues to rise, inspire, and serve while fully embracing the work she loves.
