A Calling That Shapes Every Word

Danyelle Scroggins doesn’t just write books—she builds ministries through stories. As a pastor, author, entrepreneur, and spiritual mentor, her work is grounded in the calling to reach, teach, and empower. Based in Louisiana, Danyelle has written over 50 books, including Christian fiction, devotionals, and non-fiction works that guide readers toward transformation. But behind each chapter is a personal journey of faith, discipline, and obedience.
With a Bachelor's in Theology and a Master’s in Religious Education, Danyelle’s ministry foundation is solid. Yet her voice is anything but traditional. Her fiction is real, raw, and relatable—filled with flawed characters who encounter divine grace in the midst of their mess. She writes for the women who sit in pews, run businesses, raise families, and seek to walk in purpose despite the weight of their past.
From Diary Pages to Published Purpose
Danyelle started writing at a young age, journaling her thoughts, prayers, and poetry. As her faith deepened, she recognized that writing was not just a gift but a tool. It became a way to process pain, express praise, and teach spiritual truths in ways that reached beyond the pulpit.
Her first published work, His Mistress or God’s Daughter, opened the door to a writing ministry that would span decades. She now operates under her own publishing imprint, dedicated to helping Christian authors get their work into the world with clarity and excellence. Through coaching, editing, and publishing support, Danyelle has empowered dozens of writers to step out in bold faith.

Writing with Intentionality
Whether writing fiction or nonfiction, Danyelle approaches every project with prayer. She sees her role as a vessel—receiving divine inspiration and pouring it into books that touch hearts. Her characters are complex and familiar, often grappling with real-life issues like infidelity, insecurity, church hurt, financial struggle, and spiritual stagnation.
But what sets her stories apart is the balance of grit and grace. Danyelle doesn’t sanitize the journey—she honors the process. Readers often describe her books as affirming, eye-opening, and deeply personal. That’s by design.
“My goal is that readers see themselves in the pages,” she says. “Not just their flaws, but their future.”
Leading in Ministry and Marketplace
Danyelle pastors New Vessels Ministries North in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she preaches with the same clarity and compassion that fills her books. Her ministry focuses on restoration, accountability, and purpose. As a spiritual leader, she believes in building people up so they can walk out the call on their lives without shame.
But Danyelle’s leadership doesn’t stop at the church. She’s also the founder of Divinely Sown Publishing and Royalty Coaching, where she guides faith-based entrepreneurs in clarifying their vision, launching brands, and sustaining growth with integrity.
She teaches others how to align their personal stories with their spiritual assignment—whether that’s through a book, a business, or a platform.
Faith, Family, and Focus
At the center of everything Danyelle does is her family. She is a proud mother and grandmother, often crediting her children as her biggest motivation. She believes that legacy is not just what we leave behind, but what we live out daily.
Her mornings start with devotion, prayer, and journaling—disciplines that keep her grounded. She believes deeply in stewardship: of time, talent, and testimony. “Everything I am and everything I do is because of God’s grace,” she says.
Her favorite scripture, Romans 8:28, guides her life and leadership: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Looking Ahead
As she continues writing and leading, Danyelle’s future is focused on expansion. She’s working on several new book projects, including a series on spiritual growth for women in leadership. She also hopes to host retreats, live writing workshops, and creative ministry events that bring faith and storytelling together.
Danyelle Scroggins proves that ministry doesn’t have to stay within church walls. Through every book, sermon, and coaching session, she’s equipping a generation to speak boldly, walk uprightly, and live fully in their divine identity.
