This includes but is not limited to print publications, digital publications, social media, promotional materials, and future anthologies.*

I affirm that I am the original creator of the written work and images submitted, or that I have full rights and permission to submit them. I understand that while I retain ownership of my original work, I am granting Dear Black Woman Media the right to edit, format, or adapt the content for style, clarity, or length as needed, while maintaining the integrity of the message. Proper credit will be given to me as the author or creator whenever my work is published.*

I acknowledge that my submission is voluntary and that I will not receive financial compensation for the use of my work or image. I understand that publication is not guaranteed and is subject to editorial review and approval.*

If I submit a headshot or image of myself, I give permission for Dear Black Woman Media to use my likeness in connection with my written submission and for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes use in digital or print format, press materials, and social media.*

I release and discharge Dear Black Woman Media, its editors, staff, and affiliates from any claims or liability related to the use of my submission and images, including but not limited to claims for libel, invasion of privacy, or violation of rights of publicity.*
